Victory won’t be easy for South Africa: Kumble


The first Test of the three-match series between India and South Africa will begin today (Wednesday) here at Chidambaram stadium.

Captain of the Indian team, Anil Kumble said that it would be not an easy task for South Africa to win a Test against India.

Talking with journalists at Chidambaram stadium, Chennai, Anil Kumble said that the morale of his team rose by winning against Australia in the recent series and he is confident that his team would be not an easy prey for South Africa.

He said that the key is to post big scores and let the bowlers put pressure on the visiting batsmen.

The India’s team for the first Test against South Africa will consist of the following players:
Anil Kumble (captain), Wasim Jaffer, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Venkatsai Laxman, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wicket-keeper), Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, Rudra Pratap Singh and Harbhajan Singh.
