The English Cricket Board is to consider a new team structure for Twenty20 competition at home.
The Chairman,ECB,Giles Clarke, has advised the Domestic Structure Review Group to bring necessary changes in the format of teams participating in the Twenty20 competitions in the upcoming 2008 domestic season.
An ECB release said the DSRG has been asked to consider whether sides should be able to field teams comprising four England qualified players, four under 23 England qualified players and three overseas /unqualified players.
The ECB chairman also confirmed that the DSRG had been asked to investigate a number of different options for consideration by the Board, including an extended Twenty20 domestic competition and other Cup competitions.
